Originally from St. Louis, DJ Paul Bunyon grew up in the U-City and Clayton areas with Nelly, Ali, Chingy, DJ Sno, DJ Charlie Chan, and the rest of the St. Louis Hip-Hop Scene. PB purchased his first records at Vintage Vinyl in U-City in the late 80's. After high school, PB attended the University of Evansville in Evansville, IN. During the summer after his freshman year he started working on-air at WUEV. He then met several local DJ's (DJ X-Ray, KJ, DJ Drew) and was introduced to the art of turntablism. For the next 4 years, PB refined his turntable skills and party-rocking techniques until he was ready to hit the National DJ Scene. After College, when the time was right, PB moved to Indianapolis in hopes of furthering his DJ career. His mixtapes were an instant hit on the streets and it wasnt long before PB landed his first commercial radio position. He started on WTLC in 99' with the Basement Party, and later the Mikki Fikki Mix in the afternoons with Guy Black. In 2002 PB moved across the hall to Hot 96.3 and has been there ever since. He can be heard Monday, Wednesday and Friday on the 5 O'Clock Mikki Fikki Mix, as well as Sunday night from 6pm to 10pm. The station has actually been forced to put a disclaimer on his show due to the multiple accidents his mixes create in traffic. It seems listeners while driving get so amped up they speed up and pay less attenetion to the road while embracing and feeling the music! PB has also been the Official Indiana Pacers DJ, spinning and motivating the crowd at all Pacers home games inside Conseco Fieldhouse in front of 18,000+ fans. PB is one of only 7 DJ's in the world with this type of experience, and was rated by the NBA as the best. PB is also Jermaine O'neal's personal DJ and does events for JO all over the world. PB can also be found performing all over the world, not to mention several venues in his new hometown Indianapolis, including: First Fridays, Cloud 9, Level, Blu, Have A Nice Day Cafe, Therapy, Music Mill, The Vogue, Seven, The Murat, and The Ultimate Place To Be. PB's Premier shows are in venues across the USA and Caribbean, including: Miami, Houston, LA, Vegas, Chicago, San Diago, Atlanta, Cincinatti, Louisville, Pheonix, San Juan (Puerto Rico) and other Caribbean Islands.
